Rego Park Tattoo works with clients from Briarwood who want a thoughtful approach to custom tattooing. Our work includes black and grey tattoos, portraits, fineline pieces, color tattoos, and cover-ups. You can come to us with a specific visual plan or ask for help developing a broader concept into something that works well on the body.
The first conversation usually covers the subject, approximate dimensions, placement, style, and references. Those details help us understand what you want and identify practical considerations early. If you are unsure how to describe the style, that is fine. Images can often communicate the direction more easily. Call (929) 560 4875 when you have questions before booking.
For black and grey work, contrast and tonal structure help keep the design readable. Portraits require careful reference selection and sufficient size. Fineline pieces rely on controlled spacing and restraint. Color work requires both strong composition and a useful palette. We adapt the planning process to the kind of tattoo being created.
Cover-ups are evaluated according to the tattoo already present. A new design has to account for old lines, dark areas, colors, and the available space around the piece. Send a clear photograph before choosing a final cover-up concept so we can discuss realistic options.
First-time tattoo clients from Briarwood are welcome. You can ask about what happens during an appointment, how to prepare, and what basic aftercare involves. We want the process to be understandable without overwhelming you with jargon.
For larger work, the design may be approached across several sessions. We discuss the likely scope before beginning so you can plan accordingly. Smaller pieces may take less tattooing time but still deserve careful stencil placement and a final look at scale before the needle starts. Call (929) 560 4875 if you need to clarify your appointment.
Marco DeLuca founded Rego Park Tattoo after building his experience and client relationships around Queens. He is joined by Nadia Rahman, a tattoo artist with a patient, drawing-focused approach, and Luis Vega, a piercer and studio coordinator who keeps appointments and client questions moving smoothly.
A good tattoo conversation is practical as well as creative. Tell us what the image means to you, but also tell us where it needs to fit and how large you are comfortable going. Those details help us build a piece that makes sense beyond the initial reference.
We listen to what matters about your idea and use that information to guide practical design choices.
We explain when more space will help a tattoo remain readable rather than simply agreeing to any requested dimensions.
New clients can ask about preparation, placement, sessions, and aftercare without needing prior tattoo knowledge.
Our small team keeps the experience personal and focused on direct communication.
